The Third-generation Neural Engine powers some of your favourite features such as Face ID, Animoji, and apps with augmented reality. It now does these even faster and flawlessly.

The all-powerful A13 Bionic chip is the fastest chip that can be found in a smartphone when benchmarked, the new iPhone SE clocks similar results as the iPhone 11. Meaning you can put the small device to work, exploring all the amazing apps available on the App Store, playing the most demanding games, streaming your favourite TV shows with their improved speakers, exploring augmented reality or simply switching between apps, which has never been faster!

Also, the A13 Bionic chip puts the 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture Wide camera to full use, allowing it to provide more features than the previous Single-Camera iPhones. Keeping features such as Optical image stabilisation, Digital zoom up to 5x and True Tone flash with slow sync. It adds new features, some that were only available the iPhone 11 series.

The new features include:

  • Next-generation Smart HDR for photos
  • Portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control
  • Portrait Lighting with six effects (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High‑Key Light Mono)

The latter two apply to the front camera too! These features add to an already decent camera for the price. Allowing you to take quality pictures, adding them to your digital memories.

Like all Apple devices, this is built to last. It is believed the average lifespan of an Apple product is over 4 years, with about two-thirds of their sold devices still active. That is not to say the rest no longer work, simply are no longer active. With the aforementioned A13 chip inside to power the current iOS 13 and any iOS in the foreseeable future built into a steel substructure which is surrounded by the impressive aerospace-grade 7000 Series aluminium band. Not to mention being water-resistant in depths up to 1 meter but with the drawback of losing the aux headphone port.

iPhone SE is water resistant to 1 meter for 30 minutes.1 It’s not afraid of a little coffee, tea, or soda either. And dust? No worries.
